mg

mg is Micro GNU/emacs, this is a portable version of the mg maintained by the OpenBSD team.

Portability

I know this version compiles and works fine on OpenBSD, FreeBSD, NetBSD, Cygwin and GNU/Linux.

I know mg does not compile on Solaris and HP/UX which I would really like to see remedied since I have to work on those machines and being forced to use yet another horrible vi implementation is a pain!

Great news! A solaris port is being worked on.

If you can't compile this mg version on your OS or distro then please send me a full bug-report, preferably with a patch.

As far as I know everything works like expected at the moment.
